What is MPA?
The MPA Conference is an annual meeting in Chicago, IL where hundreds of psychology presentations are made. These presentations include poster informational sessions and oral presentations.
Types of psychoogy information presented include: Social, I/O, Human Factors, Neuroscience, Clinical, APA presenations on how to get into graduate school, how to write for APA, how to publish, and much more! Presentaitons are made by undergraduates (possibly WSU), graduate students, and faculty.
Why is it important to go to MPA?

- Enables you to investigate graduate school opportunities
What will you do at the MPA conference trip?
The Midwestern Psychologial association gives you a schedule of presentations to pick out what you want to attend. While you are there, you can also talk to faculty and students from other schools as well as investigate graduate schools.
The conference usually runs from 8am to 5pm. After the conference there is plenty of time for sightseeing! Go visit the Sears Tower, Chicago Institue of Art, Millnnium Park, John Hancock Building, and have a great Chicago dining experience!
How do you attend?
The Psychology Club has devised a point system to offer a reduced price for the trip. The best way to go to MPA is to get involved with the Psychology Club and Psi Chi. Be sure to help out with Fundraising because the more funds available make the trip cheaper!
The 2011 MPA conference was Thursday, May 5th to Saturday, May 7th.
The 2012 MPA conference was Thursday, May 2nd to Saturday, May 4th.

The price of MPA depends on how active you are in the club and how successful the club is at fundraising!
